Its tours historically had a reputation for partying;[2][3] however, it also operates wellness trips culturally immersive experiences that focus less on alcohol, which are more popular with Generation Z.[4] The company owns lodging facilities in Europe, including the Chateau De Cruix, a 16th century castle in the Beaujolais wine region, and the Gasthof Schoneck in the Austrian Tyrol. The name "Contiki" comes from the portmanteau 'Con' from the word 'Continent' and 'Tiki'; from the Māori referring to the first man, often symbolised as a pendant known as hei-tiki. It can also be attributed to the New Zealand slang 'Tiki-tour' describing taking a longer route to a destination in order to explore.[5]

Great taste of Malaysia and Singapore for those who can only get away from work for so long. The trip manager and local guides definitely look after you. Would recommend spending an extra day or two in Singapore after the tour .

The adventure was lots of fun. I had lots of fun exploring new countries and was not disappointed with my trip booking. My trip manager, *Personal information removed by Feefo*, was amazing! *Personal information removed by Feefo* is very kind, approachable, fun, and also a great guide! *Personal information removed by Feefo* was a great resource, whether I needed suggestions for things to do in different cities, wanted to learn more about historical sites, or needed assistance. As a Contiki trip manager, I would rate Tone 10/10!

This Contiki tour of Malaysia and Singapore was an absolute blast! From bustling city streets to serene islands, it offered the perfect blend of culture, adventure, and relaxation. The itinerary was well-curated, allowing us to experience the highlights of both countries, including the stunning Petronas Towers, the vibrant markets of Kuala Lumpur, and the iconic Gardens by the Bay in Singapore. I loved that the trip included a mix of guided tours and free time to explore on our own. Our Trip Manager, *Personal information removed by Feefo*, recommended so many amazing free time experiences that it was impossible to do them all. Our group was fantastic, and the vibe was super social, making it easy to meet new people and share experiences. Plus, we got a great taste of local cuisine, from spicy Malaysian dishes to Singaporean street food. The trip really embraced cultural immersion, giving us a chance to dive into the region's rich history and traditions. I loved how the itinerary supported local businesses, creating authentic experiences while contributing to the communities we visited. Whether you're a foodie craving new flavors, a history enthusiast, or an adventure-seeker, this tour has something to offer everyone!

The trip was long enough to enjoy a nice break. There was a good mix of included activities and free time. Knowing the cost of the add on activities before hand would have been useful for planning and budgeting purposes. Our tour leader *Personal information removed by Feefo* provided us with a range of recommendations for the free time at each stop. Our local guide *Personal information removed by Feefo*was also friendly and super knowledgeable. Accomodation was comfortable and slightly exceeded our expectations. Mostly smooth sailing. There was a small hiccup with our booking and we had to be in touch with Contiki to make sure the booking had been confirmed.

The itinerary was very good; a few walking tours with some sight seeing which were made fun and interactive unlike some trips I've been on. Also, there were optional activities which were good add ons to choose and also an option for people not to choose if they wanted free time. Trip manager, *Personal Information removed by Feefo* was very helpful, organised and friendly; also willing to be a photographer at any second! The local guides were also very friendly and helpful. Booked through Gap360, very easy to book with.

The trip was great, the tour manager was calm and she showed us a mix of local and tourist favourites that was a good balance. Recommend the food. It was all really timely, put together and informative.

*personal info removed by Feefo* was awesome and accommodating with the tour. All the activities and places we visited were nice but wished we had more time at places. While I knew I had to pay extra for the activities, I wished I knew how much it actually cost so I could budget myself. No issues with th3 booking but wished the group in whatsapp was already set up before arriving to the place.
