Unimpressed! Everything seems to be outsourced and disconnected. The guide was unapproachable and the entire group did more talking about her than engaging with asking questions. Most international flights coming into New Zealand need to come through Auckland, not Queenstown. Therefore, after flying from LAX to Auckland, we had to book a flight to get to Queenstown (extra personal cost). They told us we needed to be there by 4pm for some sort of welcome/social... which consisted of the two of us saying hello to the guide for her to give us a walking map that had been photocopied a dozen times. After booking, the information about the inter-trip flight from Queenstown to Auckland revealed that our bags could only be 50lbs. Therefore, more fees. We were generally unimpressed with the manner/tone of the guide and everything felt as a sales pitch or maybe a pity cry. Everything is so expensive, blah blah, no one can afford a nice home. The bus at one point took us by multi-million dollar homes and then small shacks. I'm not sure what the point was, every country in the world has affluent communities as well as poverty. Another surprise was the demographic of the tour group; we didn't realize it was a senior citizen tour. I felt it was super tacky that alcohol was never included... after paying THOUSANDS of dollars for someone to keep track of how much more money we wanted to spend with booking add-on activities... you'd think you would just pad the overall cost and include some drinks. I felt pretty indifferent towards New Zealand after spending a week there, and frankly, I felt much worse about having booked with Trafalgar. The best parts of the trip were extra activities we booked independently, or restaurants we found and met with locals. We came to you for a turn key tour and we were constantly searching for things to do, places to eat. I travel all over the world (8 countries this year) and I'm pretty embarrassed with how much money I invested for this tour experience.

The sights of the Remarkables, Milford sound, and Rotorua were amazing. Definitely a must see. The tour guide, *Personal information removed by Feefo*, and the driver, *Personal information removed by Feefo* were outstanding providing a history of the region in context with settlers and natives and bringing us to understand where things lay in present day terms. They were wonderful! Under *Personal information removed by Feefo* expert hand the Transit from the bus to Tour sites went quickly and smoothly. She is patient, kind, knowledgeable, and adaptable to situations. She made our trip absolutely memorable!!

My first Trafalgar tour to New Zealand. Daily itinerary had detailed information. It was nice that they have porter service to take our luggage from the bus to the hotel room and to the bus. When we arrived the hotel, we were already checked in (except the day of arrival for the tour) and immediately received the room key from our Tour Director. However, there was 1 incorrect information was provided. The information provided by Trafalgar says checked luggage max weight is 44lbs due to intra-island flight instead of standard 50lb. The information we received from the Tour Director says 50lbs. Because the information from Trafalgar says 44lbs, we were for ed to bring medium size suitcase instead of large suitcase. We planned to spend 9 days in Australia before Trafalgar tour, we were not able to bring many clothing and had to limit souvenirs to buy due to space issues. Other tour group members brought large suitcases, so we were very disappointed with this inconsistent info. Itinerary included some free time, so it was nice because we could walk around the town to do things not included in the itinerary. Tour included the visit to a local farm to learn about the farm life, and we fed horse, pony, alpaca, etc. We wouldn’t have visited some areas without renting a car such ad Rotorua, if we didn’t purchase this tour.

Landed in Auckland and go directly to Rotoura, then Auckland the last night instead of the long ride to the airport the last day. I think it was terrible I had to pay for 2 rooms when I was with my daughter and granddaughter. There were 2 queen beds in every room we stayed in. Hope was amazing.

Short but pleasant trip to New Zealand. It's a very good service. I always book with Trafalgar for a holiday trip overseas. I have booked and paid for 1 extra day before the tour with the travel agency, but somehow, the money has not been paid to the hotel. Anyhow, things got sorted out in the end, but I wish this would not happen again in the future.z

Quick trip to New Zealand. Our tour guide, Hope was excellent, although I could have used a little more information about New Zealand and a less about the Maori. The accommodation in Auckland was superb! The flight connection from Queenstown to Auckland went very well. The morning at the farm near Queenstown was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed Arrowtown. The trip on the boat across the lake to the excellent buffet and farm show was very enjoyable. We opted for the bus ride to Milford Sound and had we known we would be on the bus for about 10 hours, we would not have gone. Nonetheless, the waterfall’s were amazing and our bus driver was very informative. Our hotel room in Queenstown was good, but the one in Rotorua was poor! The bus ride from Auckland to Rotorua provided a terrific view of the countryside, and the visit to the Glow Worm cave was very interesting. The Maori show and dinner In Rotorua was excellent. The visit to the Kiwi hatchery was informative. The visit to the Maori village was very good and our guide was informative although somewhat abrasive at times. The farewell dinner was outstanding! This information was provided above.
