Afterward, enjoy a farm-to-table lunch with ingredients fresh from the farm. Savor dishes such as butternut squash soup, kale and brussels salad, shepherd’s pie, garlic flatbread, and maple cookies.
• At the Trapp Family Lodge, join in an interactive and creative activity learning how to build your own birdhouse using natural materials before decorating your birdhouse. You’ll love having a hand-made souvenir to take home with you to enjoy watching the birds visit your backyard. Your experience is enhanced by the beautiful setting of the Trapp Family Lodge surrounded by the Trapp Family Forest, a 1,513-acre conservation area that protects the scenic and ecological values of the rolling hills, streams, wetlands and diverse wildlife habitats.
