Intrepid ' s 14 days Antarctica in Depth is a fantastic cruise. Antarctica itself is amazing. The itinerary includes Weddell Sea made the journey even more enchanting. The only shortcomings of the trip are some confusion when activity was cancelled and there was no follow-up. Overall it's a fabulous trip.

Antarctica was my 7th continent and I'm happy I managed to do it with Intrepid Travel. I've traveled with Intrepid to several destinations across the world, so I knew the kind of experience to expect while on the trip, and they didn't disappoint. In fact, the trip was way better than expected and beyond what I hoped to experience.

Such a wonderful experience to visit Antarctica with Intrepid. The ship was comfortable. There was definitely plenty of food which was varied and catered for all tastes. Viewing mind blowing scenery and the unique wildlife whist kayaking through the icy waters is such a fantastic experience. This trip to Antarctica truly surpassed my expectations.

If you have Antarctica on your bucket list go if you can and go with intrepid. They have the best combination of comfort combined with a sense of exploration. It matters not your age although you do need to leap into and out of zodiacs sometimes quite promptly but the staff are very diligent and are always there to offer assistance . As a healthy 78 year old I was able to enjoy all that the trip had to offer. The lectures complemented the activities well and the expedition team had a great depth of experience and knowledge. Being B corp certified was very important to me and I hope the company remains committed to these ideals! Thank you intrepid!!

This 14-day expedition to Antarctica has been one of the best holidays of my life. Between the contagious excitement of my new-found friends (seriously met some of the best people on the planet here) and the excellent expedition crew and ship staff, we had an unforgettable adventure and were not ready to return back home. I cannot recommend highly enough the kayak option - it was such a unique and precious way to to experience the peninsula and I have such breathtaking moments from that program. Thank you, Intrepid crew and staff for such a lovely two weeks.

This was the perfect trip to give me the true Antarctica experience I was looking for - the 7 days actually in Antarctica was the right amount of time to get activities in that covered all the facets Antarctica has to offer and to do so across the Weddell Sea and 'downtown' Peninsula is really special. Make sure you add on some of the additional activities if available - I did the photo program, camping and day paddle and enjoyed them all. It's such a unique trip in that all guests really feel the spirit of the expedition and the staff and crew are warm and engaging, and want to ensure you have the best and informed experience so it's a truly unforgettable experience that will be impossible to beat.

A truly breath taking experience that allowed us to see the western side of the peninsula as well as the lesser visited eastern Weddell Sea side, an itinerary I can't recommend highly enough. That combined with an amazing expedition team and crew onboard the extremely comfortable Ocean Endeavour has left me with life-changing memories that I will cherish forever

"Best holiday I've ever been on! Expedition team were friendly, knowledgeable and extremely professional. We were lucky to have perfect weather throughout but it was the experience of the team, led by Alex, who expertly crafted an itinerary where each expedition was unique and memorable. The ship and crew were also top class, providing a quality hotel and food service throughout - such food variety even to the last day! Really enjoyed the science and environmental aspect that was weaved in as a core component too plus Adam Spencer as the celebrity on board certainly added some extra pizzazz to proceedings."

Ocean Endeavor voyage by Intrepid/Chimu to Antarctica was fabulous. We spent 7 full days at the Antarctic. Each day was full of amazing excursions along with educational opportunities. Staff were very knowledgeable and supportive Sightings of animals, icebergs, and sunsets were abundant. The sea was calm during most of our travel, which was a wonderful surprise and gift.

If there are adequate words to describe Antarctica I am unable to find them. The closest would probably be 'otherworldly'. It really made me wonder whether we all had unknowingly died in Drake Passage and had gone straight to heaven. I will hold Antarctica in my mind and in my heart - forever.
