Our Tour Director was excellent. He kept us well informed and organized. He expressed an interest in getting to know each of us and showed concern for every need. Our Driver was most skillful through extremely high winds. We always felt safe and were delivered to each stop on time. The itinerary covers the entire Ring Road of Iceland as well as many side trips along the way. The route was carefully planned so that we were able to see so many beautiful and other worldly locations. It would have been difficult to manage that on our own, because of the tiresome drives and lack of sightseeing by the driver our Tour Director, kept the group organized and timely while also informing us of the area's history and local folklore. Our driver was very skillful and safe, even in the midst of extremely strong winds. We enjoyed meeting the others in our group from 5 different countries.

Good follow up on trip instructions. Hotel porters do not transfer carryon bags to room. Beautiful landscape and people. Variable weather. Very expensive country esp. any alcohol items. Good overview of Iceland, not enough time for inner country roads and more wilderness areas. Hotels are mostly adequate except for Hofn hotel, no elevator for guests. Lots of good fish meals. Wish wine was provided for each dinner. Very friendly and helpful tour director.

This was our third tour with Insight Egypt, Spain and Portugal and now Iceland. The service on all these trips was fantastic. Excellent itinerary, showing us the great diversity of Iceland's geographic features. Our guide and our driver were absolutely fabulous. They went out of their way to make our trip memorable. Iceland has so much to offer a traveler and this trip allowed us to experience it all first hand.

Both our Tour Director and our bus driver were exceptional was known as the Great the Absolute Best There were not hitches in the planning or execution of our trip. Hotels were topnotch. I can't think of one thing I would change or add to the service Insight provided. I'd travel with them again in a minute! Our itinerary took us along the Ring Rd. Nature's beauty is exquisite and varied. We chose this trip because of the itinerary. It was a very good decision. If you book this trip you will not regret it for a one minute. Great job Insight Vacations!

This was our 4th Insight Vacation and it won't be our last. They do an amazing job creating an itinerary that somehow satisfies all the senses and easily immerses you into the local culture to truly experience life there. Our trip to Iceland was an amazing adventure as we discovered the beauty and diversity of the constantly changing landscape. The people were friendly everywhere we went and we were never disappointed in our accommodations, meals and excursions. We are so happy that Insight once again helped us check off another country from our travel bucket list!

The actual service was very good. Great itinerary for the most part. It worked out okay, but some of those who took the optional tours left the rest of us with time to kill. Some of us came or left a day early but then transportation to and from the airport was not covered. I heard complaints from travellers who were alone that they were being charged for services they did not receive. The result was a negative view about the management of Insight Vacations. The driver and tour director were positive attributes and brought out the best of the tour itinerary.

Would have liked to receive detailed information about our trip from insight earlier than just prior to departing. Misleading to call a 9 day tour - first day welcome was very brief and there was nothing on day 9. No real tour or info on Reykjavik as a city - only travel directly to optional attractions. Excessively costly tour, even considering the expensive nature of Iceland plus then needed to pay additional for optional excursions which should have been in the itinerary already. We enjoyed the tour but do not feel it offered value for money.
