After exploring, head further into the Konavle region for a traditional ‘peka’ lunch, featuring lamb and other meats cooked beneath an iron bell. No meal here is complete without a glass of local Croatian wine, so raise a toast with Grk or Plavac Mali as you celebrate a new adventure. Go, if only for your eyes: this trip has got eye-opening history, eye-popping scenery, and eye-catching cultural diversity. The visit to a beautiful private home in Sarajevo for a cooking lesson and dinner and conversation was itself worth a trip across the Atlantic.

This tour was a wonderful mix of culture, (complicated)history, amazing food great company and breath taking scenery. Pavle was a great leader, knowledgeable, amusing and interesting to listen to. Really loved Sarajevo and our dinner with local couple was very memorable as they had lived through the siege and hearing first hand experiences was an eye opener. A unique part of the world with beautiful landscapes, put it on your must see list!
