Hello island lovers! Welcome to Greece, and welcome to the best holiday of your life. It's a big call to make on day 1, but we're making it! Take a minute to unpack and settle in to our hotel before we meet up this evening. First your Trip Manager will give you the rundown of what to expect over the next 8 days, then exchange proper hellos with your fellow travellers over an included dinner.

With no time to waste, we'll start our island hopping adventures today with our first destination: Mykonos. Let's do this! Two nights on the island of Mykonos, how did we get so lucky? Even the boat ride across the Aegean will have you awe struck and in love. Tonight, you'll have the option to join an exploration of Mykonos by night on a locally guided walking tour of the town's cobbled streets.

Get ready for a day full of viewing coastal windmills, stuffing your face with olives, feta, and tzatziki. We'll stroll down storybook streets dotted with those gorgeous blue domes and we'll pick up some evil eye ornaments along the way to keep the bad vibes away. And this is all before you've even taken a dip in the ocean! Doesn't get much better than this... The day is yours to soak up the sunshine and play in the sea.

This morning we're on to our next Greek island, Paros. Let's spare a thought for all those travellers who only get to visit just one Greek Island, and then remember how lucky we are. Beaches, naturally sculpted swimming coves, a Byzantine church and traditional villages: we must be in Paros. You're free to get into the sun and sea vibes. Those who feel like exploring can sign up for an optional trip to a traditional village where you'll visit a local family-run bakery and shop the local handicrafts.

Another day, another Greek Island delight. Hold tight - today you have the chance to visit Paros and some of the stunning islands around it - for a full day of sunbathing, swimming, relaxing, soaking-up-the-sunshining. Later tonight, we'll tuck into an included dinner at a local restaurant, before heading out to sample the local nightlife.

Paros, it's been magical – but today we're taking to the seas again, this time in search of Greece's most insta-famous island: Santorini. Santorini, we have arrived! Tonight you'll have the chance to join us on a cruise and take in the iconic Fira.

Rise and shine, Greek Island travellers! The island of Santorini won't explore itself. Today is your day to take a swim at Perissa Beach, eat the local specialty of fried tomato balls known as domatokeftedes, or roam and explore. You can even opt to take a visit to incredible Oia followed by a visit to the black sand beach of Santorini.

As an introvert I felt nervous going into a group trip with people I didn’t know. Our trip manager was amazing at supporting everyone and making the experience so fun but I also ended up leaving with friends I would stay in touch with long term. The trip itself was fast paced with not much down time but I didn’t mind that since we really got the most out of the experience. Very easy to book. Wish we had more of a detailed itinerary going into the trip but it didn’t effect the end experience.

Doing the Plus Trip was perfect for me and my partner, as we got our own room but still had the classic Contiki experience. Ana - our trip leader, was phenomenal. Always keeping us up to date, organized, energized, and informed. The hotels were mostly comfortable, and well located. Navigating the ferries would have been a nightmare on my own so I'm so glad took care of that for us. I learned so much about Greece and mythology. The inclusions were terrific (so much good food!) and FTAs we well worth it.

It’s been a dream for me to go to the Greek islands. Travelling alone can be scary but being apart of this contiki really made everything so much easier. And was great always gave us all the information we needed for anything- activities to transport etc. I had a blast and I’ll never forget it!

Ah there were so many amazing parts of my trip! I think the highlight would be when we went to Little Venice, Mykonos. We had a tour, a planned dinner, and then got to explore the nightlife. Our trip manager had transportation and recommendations throughout the night for us as well. After our night out in Little Venice, we went back to our accommodation and enjoyed its lively nightlife as well! I am so happy with my experience! I made so many great friends on this trip and we are already looking for our next adventure together!

I thoroughly enjoyed this trip! Accomodation was great, usually close to the beach or town. Just enough activities to balance sight seeing and relaxing by the beach, plus the added chill morning starts. Got to see so much without the added stress of organising transfers including the infamous ferries. Will be back to the Greek Islands, as well as another tour with Contiki. Me and my friend booked late (4 days before this trip began) and were placed on the waiting list. Overall the team we spoke to online through the chat were super helpful including our previous Contiki Trip Manager and made the process super easy!
