Excellent service, knowledgeable tour director who went out of her way to help everyone! Thanks! All local guides were very knowledgeable and friendly! Everything well planned! Lots of walking, lots of stairs not for weak knees or disabilities. Not easy pace or relaxed start! But loved it! Had a wonderful time!

Great before during and after the trip. The tour director was extraordinary. She went far above and beyond conducting a tour to make it the trip of a lifetime for us! She and the driver have our highest recommendation. Three nights in each city was important to us. More trips like that please! Good central locations for the hotels and accommodations were great. Bravo!

Our guide was so very caring about the special needs of our party. She planned simply wonderful tings for us to do. Her narration was very knowlegeble and often hilarious. There is noting EASY about this trip. Three nights in each hotel means less packing and unpacking, but the requirements for walking and stairs on very uneven surfaces, plus getting down onto boats from rocking piers into rolling waters is not for everyone. We did about 7 miles on our longest walking day in Rome. One guest fell and wasn't able to keep up with all of the rest of the itinerary. Another guest fell and ws injured getting onto a boat in Venice. For those who have the stamina, it's a great trip! The guide was fantastic. But it's too easy for buyers to be mislead by the title EASY Pace into thinking that this will be less strenuous that the NOT-EASY tours. A better description of what will be required might deter some buyers, for their own safety and could avoid disappointment once the tour commences. I was disappointed that we didn't get inside more churches on the tour, nor into the Roman Forum. And some of the best murals in Pompii were missed becasue the tour didn't go far enough into the area, concentrating instead upon the more lurid neighborhoods. Felt very rushed in the Vatical Museums. So glad we took it upon ourselves to spend an afternoon in the Uffizi on our own.

The title ”Easy Pace” confused a number of people on our tour, who thought that meant that there wasn’t a lot of walking. One woman was constantly complaining because she felt like she had been misled by the title and she had some physical limitations that made all of the walking very difficult for her. Perhaps she has never traveled before because we thought it was obvious from the itinerary that there would be a lot of walking, but I’ve been to Europe a few times before and know that anytime you travel to a historical site. There will be a lot of walking on uneven surfaces. She was not the only person on the tourwho thought that easy pace that that the bus would be dropping her off right in front of the Colosseum..

Main bags were picked up from outside the room and loaded on the bus for you. Carry on luggage you bring to the bus. You can usually leave stuff on the bus during the day. The bus driver does a great deal and is flexible to manage unique requests made by the tour guide. The early part of this trip is in Rome. There is a lot in Rome to see and do and the tour required a great deal of walking. Be prepared for this before you arrive in Italy or be prepared to be selective about what you can reasonably do while there. The great thing is you will have the opportunity to visit many of the main sights people want to see. We loved Pompeii the ash covered this community and changed the geography and the ruins are very interesting. Florence was great and to get to see the statue of David was fun. It had less walking than Rome but there is still a good bit because buses are not allowed in many parts of the city. Venice was completely different with water taxis and all the traveling by boat. Saint Mark's square was fun and walking the back streets was great. In general, all tickets were prepaid so you don't stand in lots of lines waiting to get in to sites. The bus was very comfortable and had wi-fi. We had a great tour leader, Barbara Tagliavento, who created a professional, caring, and fun atmosphere in addition to providing her knowledge which was substantial.

I really had no experience with customer service as it was unnecessary. Everything was extremely organized and the tour director was excellent. This itinerary covers a lot more than is listed in the description. However, there were a lot of extras that needed to be paid for if you wanted to see all that was available.

I really appreciated having Insight Vacations take out the stress and hassle of planning a multi day vacation in a foreign country visiting several cities. Having transportation, guide , and meals provided made the experience memorable and to focus on the joys of the moment instead of the stress of the planning. I would recommend the Easy Pace Italy tour through Insight Vacations. The itinerary hit the must see attractions in Rome, Florence, Pisa, and Venice. The added excursion to Pompeii was wonderful and the specialized meals were tailored to maximize the experience. The guide pays strict attention to detail for food requirements and provided excellent recommendations for one off adventures or shopping excursions. The best aspect was the advance purchase of tickets to allow the group easy access eliminating the personal hassle of fitting an itinerary around when your entry times are secured.

Tour director handled traveler injury with care and concern I said no to the question abt recommending the tour. I thought the tour was great ….but many on the tour thought the pace would be somewhat slower than average tours. It was explained on the tour that the tour was named by the fact only 3 hotels were used. A better explanation of the activity and daily walking need to be clarified as a few people on the tour could not fully participate as some had some mobility issues. One member of the group was injured due to her mobility issues. I enjoyed the tour very much.
