Well organised, comfortable buses with WC on board if needed. Brilliant driver in *Personal details removed by Feefo*. Tour is a steady pace with quite a bit of walking, if your not up to that you will miss alot. Not alot of down time to shop but you are there to see the sights and history first. Loved our tour with great group of people and great host *Personal details removed by Feefo* and driver "Personal details removed by Feefo, such a safe, careful lovely man to drive us everywhere. Good steady pace perhaps in Rome hotel a little closer in walking distance to main shopping area, but understand the trouble with coaches getting in. Would have loved more time in some places but to achieve what we saw in our space of time was pretty good. Brilliant travel director in *Personal details removed by Feefo* who definitely put in the extra miles to help us understand and see what we requested. Love our trip and all the countries.

The service was excellent as always our guide was very knowledgeable, gracious and kind! The Driver was also amazing kept us safe and was very kind! My disappointment had nothing to do with the service! Too much go go go very little free time I felt like too much was squeezed in that I saw a lot but didn't see a lot example.... We saw the Louvre.... Going by on a boat! Well so what!!! Too much time on the coach!

We had an excellent time with a mix of NZ's & Aussie"s plus 2 Americans The bus is spacious with plenty of leg room We did approximately 7800 km. We had an amazing time. It was very busy & a reasonable fitness for walking makes it easier. We saw so many different areas of Europe. Our group ended up at 21 which was perfect as you got 2 seats each with lots of leg room.

We had exceptionally good tour leader and driver! Both were helpful. We were able to acccess a doctor when needed through the tour leader contacting the hotel we were in and organising that for us. We found the itinerary full and interesting especially in the last weeks of the tour. The tour began in Paris and we would have preferred the Palace of Versaille and Monets garden rather than a local market and a rather ordinary restaurant. We had been advised that we would have choices andcwe would be able to decidevwhich wecwould like to do. But we discovered that the options were chosen by the tour guide and the only choice we had was whether we went to that choice or not go. It was obvious that others also found this disappointing. We had an excellent tour leader and bus driver! They were very professional, approachable, friendly, and experienced!

Service was good and Hotels were excellent. Some of the locations for included meals were average. I feel that insight needs to change the way it delivers the optional extras. Instead of charging the tour price add the optional extras into the total price. Nobody likes to go on a holiday then have to add more costs whilst on the tour. Please remember that Australians are not accustomed to Tipping and feel very awkward about this. I personally felt very uncomfortable about the tipping process during our tour. Lots of early starts and not long enough at some destinations. The final 3/4 days are far too much bus travel and I felt that we just covered some countries just to tick the box, as to say we went to 9 countries.

Pre-travel customer service was poor, as no contact was made until I contacted Insight several days prior to departure. During travel - Richard was very good. The destinations were great but on many occasions, farctoo much time was spent travelling between destinations on the coach.

Richard was always well prepared with the purchase of tickets for events, sorting local tour guides for different venues, our accommodation with registering and dispersing our room keys, keeping us well informed, not having to wait in queues, places of interest, dinners and visiting places of interest. We also had plenty of leg room on the coach as less seats and limited number of tourists. Read less Our Tour Guide, Richard Lintott was a very knowledgable, sincere and caring person. He was so organised and a living encyclopedia, what Richard didn't know wasn't worth knowing. It would be very hard for anyone to step into Richards shoes and Insight is very fortunate to have such a great employee who treated everyone with respect and care. Also, not to forget our very talented and amazing driver Piero, who daily cleaned and his coach and deserves a medal for the tight spots he was able to fit his coach through. Will miss both these wonderful people. Highly recommend Insight Vacations and can't wait for our next adventure with them.

It's a great itinerary but I think without the "optional extras" it would be quite ordinary. We had a wonderful time and saw so much that we may not have seen or even known about if we hadn't been on this tour. Our guide, Richard was an absolute font of knowledge and stories and anecdotes. He brought things to life. I do think that people need to understand how much walking is involved and how tiring the itinerary is there's no real down time and you should be prepared for that. However, it's necessary if you want to see all that we saw. The hotels were all great. perhaps with the exception of Venice. Pillows in Amsterdam was beyond expectations! This tour was well worth the effort.

The 26 days of European Grandeur was managed a very experienced and knowledgeable tour director Chantal Sucaud making the travel stress free. I am grateful that she took care of the pace and space I needed when I had tendinitis. Thank you for my birthday surprise too! Read less The itinerary is very ambitious and the activities all back to back without much of "me" time even though the duration is 26 days. Thankfully, my tour director, Chantal Sucaud is very experienced and knowledgeable. Her meticulous planning and arrangements are perfectly executed. She was very caring and considerate to those who fell ill and those that have mobility issues. Her ability to articulate the history, traditions and stories along the journey with her unique sense of humor is really impressive. A very committed TD who wanted to give her guests as much as she could. The best part of itinerary are the river/lake cruises. They are the "must do", complimenting the land tours perfectly, slowing down the pace a little for the picturesque scenery appreciation with beverages/snacks and have the sun and fresh air in my face. In addition to the feedback above, I hope that Insight can evaluate their hotel partners as some of the hotels provided rooms that have worn out furniture, dusty and overall condition is not premium. This is quite a disappointment for premium travel. It's not just the hotel rating but the comfort feel of staying in that matters.

The optional tours were an unexpected and expensive extra- not always good value. Some hotels and meals were excellent and others really ordinary. The tour guide spent an excessive amount of time reminding us about the tips expected at the completion of the tour.
