This was a good trip over a beautiful landscape. The guide was excellent. I only downgraded it slightly because December is probably not the best time to offer this trip. With only 4-5 hours of daylight everyday, this limits the kinds of activities that can be done. This trip in October or March would probably be perfect because there is still a good probability of seeing the Northern Lights, but there would be more daylight for the other activities.

Everything was planned in advance, well thought out, and delivered on time. When something had to be cancelled (because of weather), other options were quickly added and as a customer I didn't have any disruptions in my experience.

It was great, if there was one thing to change it would be to see more sites that aren',t flooded with other tourists

Traveling with G Adventures really takes the stress of planning out of everything and worying about everyday transportation away. All of the plans are scheduled to fit the time of the day perfectly and provide a range of activity. For those reasons I would highly recommend G Adventures to another traveler. The only thing that I wish was improved was the communication of confirmation of the bookings. Like the hotel, extra add-on options, and other activities.

Our CEO and guide Krzysztof Zalewski made the 7 day experience through Iceland the most amazing holiday I've ever had with my family. He set the tone at orientation that the other 13 people we would be traveling with are our 'holiday family'. We stayed connected, laughed, high lighted each experience we had at the end of each day. The 2 days we spent has a holiday family on the private horse farm in the guest house was awesome!

Small overall group sizes leads to a more intimate experience. G Adventures CEOs have always been - in my experience - highly motivated, knowledgeable, and excellent at engaging with their groups.
