Itinerary
Day 1: Iguassu Falls
Arrive at either the Brazilian or Argentine airport where you will be met and transferred to the hotel.
Spend the next 3 nights in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, exploring this tri-border region where Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay meet at the junction of the Parana and Igussu rivers. The focus, however, will be the magnificent Cataratas do Iguaçu, or Iguassu Falls.
Day 2: Iguassu Falls
Take a half-day excursion to Iguassu National Park on the Brazilian side. Use free time this afternoon to explore on your own. Opt to do a helicopter ride over the falls or visit the bird park
In order to see the falls properly, view them from both the Brazilian and the Argentine sides: the Brazilian side offers the grand overview and the Argentine side gives a closer look.
Day 3: Iguassu Falls
Tour the Argentine side of Iguassu Falls, wandering the extensive walkways through the jungle. Opt to do a jet boat tour.
Day 4: Iguassu Falls
Depart at any time, transfer to airport is included.

The tour guide (Ricardo i think) was very good. The tours were well organised. I just think that this tour is only for couple travelers because I was a solo traveler and i didn't had any other people who had the same tour as me. On my second day I was with a couple and they were very welcoming but if i havent met them i would have been the whole tour by myself.

The drivers/guides were great. Everything went according to plan. However, I was disappointed with the hotel. I have never stayed at a hotel that the hallway lights were ona motion detector. Most of the time I was walking in darkness for several steps before tgey came on. Also no view from room so was depressing. Staff was friendly though.

I will highly recommend G Adventures, but perhaps not this trip (Igua?u independent). With a bit of research we could have done it in our own and not had to worry about being with others.

Not sure I would recommend this particular trip. It seems to be a lot of money for basically travel to and from the airport and to and from the falls, plus accommodation. We were not impressed with the driver. On the Argentine side he strongly encouraged everyone to take the boat ride. Initially none of the 4 of us were going to go. He said if we didn't go, we would have time to go on the lower trail walk . Later 3 of us decided to go. He did not warn us of recommendations not to go if you had back or heart issues and that there were a couple of hundred steps to climb back out after. When we wanted to pay by charging he said we couldn't, only cash to him. He said we paid a premium on the ticket for his services and that if we didn't purchase through him, he wouldn't wait and we wouldn't have a ride back into town. We had a problem with this as first he stated we had time to go on the lower loop if we didn't go on the boat ride. This meant he would be spending the extra couple of hours in the park either way. Also we felt we paid for transportation to and from the park, so the threat of leaving us was not taken well. On the second day to the Brazilian side, no one wanted to go to the bird display. The other couple wanted to go to the 3 points location where Argentina,Brazil and Paraguay borders meet. We said we were willing to go as well. The driver said he wasn't willing to take us there, which wasn't too far out of his way. We didn't understand what the problem was, since he was willing to take us to and wait for us at the bird display. We felt we were taken back to town early because of the decision not to see the birds. You don't have a place to state this later so stating this here. At the end you offer a 5% discount on our next G Adventures tour for completing this survey, but when asked, we were told it was not available to be used on this Iguassu Falls package.

I LOVE G Adventures!!!! I am going for the 14 wonders of the world and the 7 continents. and 95% of my travels have been with G Adventures. because I know I can relax and enjoy and everything is taken care of for me. They tell me what time to wake up and I am in their hand till the time they bring me back to my hotel. I don't have to worry about anyting they gave me great advice what to do what not to do.
