The best trip ever! Attention to detail! This was a fantastic trip. We saw so much of Italy on this tour. Our tour guide was absolutely amazing. He was funny, patient, and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour for first timers to Italy.

Twisted Customer Service Before Tour Started! Tour director and bus driver was excellent. However, your service regarding staying at a pre-night hotel sucked. Your hotel negotiations went on forever & I couldn't book a room in the hotel at the beginning of the trip. I am sure I wasn't the only one who wanted to book the same hotel that became the headquarters for the start of the tour. Would have like to have more time in the lake region. All other regions, cities and/or towns were great.

Trip of a Lifetime! Out travel director was the best!!! He was organized, had a lot of information and commentary on the coach rides, was very available, and he was so fun and hilarious at times. Our transfers to and from the airport were perfect. We were very happy with trafalgar.

The Italian Glory tour was fabulous. We made some wonderful friends. It was a lovely surprise to find similar age travellers along with us which made us feel more comfortable. Everything was very well organised. Our coach was super comfortable and made travelling between cities much more enjoyable. Our only concern was our tour director. He did not spend a lot of time with us. Felt more like a drop and go at each point and left us in the hands of the local specialist.

We enjoyed the detail that Trafalfar provided about the tour prior to our arrival. The contact information with our guide and how responsive he was with our questions. The complementary bus rides to and from the airport was very helpful as we were concerned about the transportation. We also liked how there were plenty of stops for bathroom breaks and to purchase refreshments. I had been reading that we had to pay to use the bathroom in a lot of locations which is very different from traveling in the states, and I was concerned about that for my husband in particular. However, we appreciated the frequent stops, where facilities were clean and free of charge. Also, we found the bus to be very comfortable especially for the longer travel days. We loved the itinerary!!! It was exactly what my husband, Del and I, were looking for since it was our first time visiting Italy. It was the perfect retirement vacation for him. Our tour guide, Pino, did an outstanding job navigating the tour, explaining the different tours, and keeping us on track. My husband and I truly appreciated his knowledge, his guidance, and his humorous personify. Starting in Milan was magnificent and we got to see such places we’d dreamed of like Lake Como, the Amalfi Coast, Florence and Venice. I loved that we had two or three nights in most locations to give us a chance to rest and really take in the sights before moving onto the next sight as well. Beautiful locations, lovely activities, and I can’t say enough about the dinner locations. Absolutely stunning locations and wonderful food! ??. Kudos to Pino and our driver Antonio! They were both awesome the entire tour and we woukd love to have each of them again on another Trafalgar adventure!

Italian Glory best vacation ever. The people who hire the tour director are the backbone of the tours. I can’t praise the director enough. The tour was wonderful, the tour director a truly wonderful person, very knowledgeable and informative., and entertaining. The local experts couldn’t have been better. I think the only thing I would change to the Italian Glory tour is the information provided in the brochure. You need to add something that say how much walking there is in the tour. Flatter areas, no problem, but a few of the older members of the group were not able to handle some of the attractions due to the stairs in the Amalfi coast area, or the streets in Pompeii. Also maybe note that Italian laws/regulations may require the bus to park farther away from the attractions than they did prior to the Covid pandemic, increasing the necessary walking. Otherwise I look forward to exploring somewhere else with Trafalgar.

TRIP of a lifetime! TRAFALGAR did the hard work. All the check in, luggage, guides, entrances were covered!!! Optional experiences were amazing yet expensive! Fast paced & lots of walking & amazing locations!! LOVED our tour guide Danilo& bus driver Sasa! I LOVED the locations!! The only place for improvement is the food. I enjoy the pasta but definitely missed the option for SALADS! It was amazing & memorable but very expensive considering we also did ALL of the OPTIONAL excursions. I’d rate it 8/10!

The tour director was an excellent salesman. He effectively sold all the experiences to my granddaughter and I. I ended up spending a lot more than I had planned on the experiences not included in the trip. It was my problem that I couldn’t say no to my grandchild. However, Gianlucuca D’Errico was an excellent tour director. He was great at the scheduling and noticed when fellow tourists were struggling.

The service was exceptional. The itinerary was excellent - I’m glad I was able to see all that I did, but at times was a bit rushed. I also believe that there should be a description of the level of walking travelers would do on the trip. Some travelers experienced difficulties keeping up with the pace. The travel director and the bus driver were amazing and open to meeting the needs of the travelers.

Hotels were generally spacious and comfortable but some being older meant the aircon did not work properly leaving the rooms uncomfortably warm overnight. Meals were excellent - too much to eat sometimes contributing to an expanding holiday waistline.

Italian Glory - definitely a bucket list vacation! They thought of everything that is in the best interest of the customer. Conveniently located hotels close to restaurants, tourist attractions and transportation spots. Very well organized. Great selection of excursions. Great attention to detail. My family and I always felt safe on the tour bus as the driver was exceptional. We enjoyed not having to worry about moving our baggage to and from each hotel as this was all managed behind the scenes. Tour director ( Antonella ) was experienced and knew exactly what she was doing and provided great tips and direction. The optional excursions were all excellent and well worth the money as they also provided safe and comfortable transportation to and from the excursion via the tour's great bus driver Salvatore. All around excellent tour and I would highly recommend it. Please note though, that there is a fair amount of walking each day and if this is not your cup of tea then it may not be for you. However, we never felt overwhelmed by the walking because there was always so much to see and enjoy. This tour should be on everyone's bucket list if you wish to see the more popular places in Italy during one vacation.

Sharisse Burch   -  Traveled, April 2024

Itinerary was great, Paolo was wonderful. However, the food was way below what we expected. The included meals & additional experience meals were not good. One of the reasons to travel to Italy is to experience the delicious food. This was not the case. It wasn't until we decided to bypass these & go out on our own that we had some great food. For the price we paid we were expecting a lot more in the way of food. Not oversalted, overcooked food for dinner (prime rib was unrecognizable it was so overcooked). And for breakfast the eggs were runny & bacon was almost raw. No hot water our last morning on Amalfi Coast, mold in the shower in Rome, bathtub so high in Stresa that I almost fell getting out of the shower. The additional meals were expensive and we did not think a dinner that was 77 Euros each would be lunch meat with gravy and whipped cream with a teaspoon of lemon cake mixed in for dessert.
