The organization of the trip by G Adventures was excellent. The trip itself was a mixture of adventure and having a rest.

I love sailing, so I would recommend sailing the Greek Islands, but it's a lottery who you sail with and what the weather conditions will be!

I wouldn't want to put them through the disappointment of saving for years for a holiday of a lifetime to then be totally ruined by getting a grumpy, miserable and highly unpleasant skipper. Being on such a small boat this obviously had a large impact on the atmosphere and it was just awkward and uncomfortable. He would not stop moaning about the politics behind the trip and this made me feel unwelcome. I also found it was not very well organised and that they were trying to get more money out of us, such as day 1 we were told to get to a taverna on the other side of the island which cost £50 and then once we had met up (with no explanation) the said grumpy skipper piled us into a taxi and took us to the other side of the island. This made the £50 a waste as new location was very close to airport.

Pick up location was inconvenient & went straight past where we travelled from. The boat needed some TLC ie noisy showers pumps fridge broken pillows uncomfortable, door handle broken & even worse the outboard didn't start & we were asked to pay for transfers to shore 10euros for 2 minutes trip

The change in pick up location wasted our time and money. The boat was in poor condition including the dingy which meant we had to pay for transfers to the shore.

Lousy snorkel gear. Mask leaked? all of them. No flippers for small women. Ladder slanted inwards so hard to get up and into boat.
