Some family members are not mobile enough so this might not be for them.

Great crew Nonie is an amazing tour guide. The scenery was breathtaking. But most importantly, Nonie shared the Thai culture with us. He is a genuine person and really hope we cross paths again. Captain Yaya, First mate Lee and chef Tip were incredible. First class crew.

I feel like I seriously overpaid for this trip, to the point of a borderline rip-off. The crew was great. $770 goes a long way in Thailand, though, and to sail to islands that are already mostly accessible via day trips, it's criminal. Now accommodations are included too, but the cabin is pretty tough. I consider myself a pretty hardy traveler, but the cabin can barely fit one person standing up, is right next to the engine (meaning you are up the minute the boat starts moving) and is generally damp and uncomfortable. The AC didn't work one night (credit to the crew for trying to fix it on the spot) so I had to sleep on the deck. The activities were pretty much the same across all the islands- snorkel, kayak, paddleboard. Maybe go on a dinghy to an island if it has some civilization. All together, I paid $770 to get 5 hours of sleep in a rank cabin for 2 nights and to sail between some easily accessible islands to snorkel. I really wanted G Adventures to work out: I solo travel or travel with my partner a lot, and it's an easy way to make an interesting itinerary. But if this is the return on value, I won't be doing it again- I could have gotten 3 nights at a luxury hotel and been to every one of these islands for about $500.

While it was a great trip overall, it was too expensive for 3 days on an old boat that requires a deep clean and a proper maintenance.

I love the type of itinerary that G Adventures provides. The CO',S are always excellent, and I've always felt safe as a solo traveler. I love the fact I have the option to share which makes my travel affordable.

It depends on your comfort with being on the sea. The majority of the trip is spent on the boat, which is beautiful but also limits the time spent visiting each island. The loving quarters are adequate, but as it is on a boat the space is limited. I was definitely a nice experience

it's a worthwhile cost to be able to take you around places without having to deal with logistics yourself
