Head to Toledo, the former capital of Spain, where you will join a Local Specialist for a walking tour of this city that dates back to Roman times. You'll visit a traditional factory and Dive into Culture, witnessing the age-old inlaid-steel craft, before seeing one of El Greco's most famous paintings in the Church of Santo Tomé – 'The Burial of the Count of Orgaz'. You'll also visit the synagogue, before returning to Madrid to admire the exterior of the Royal Palace and Cibeles Fountain with your Local Specialist. My Spanish experience. Trafalgar has knowledgeable and friendly tour directors and expert local tour guides. And they have skilled bus drivers too. It capture so much of Spain--its rich history and its people. In just one week, we visited at least eight cities. I recommend this tour for those who want to experience this country.

Spanish Funder. Trafalgar kept us informed throughout provided prompt answers and made all travel and hotel stays smooth. Our tour guide was available throughout the trip and helpful with coordinating our transfers, boarding tix etc. This trip is a great look at current Spanish life in the capitol of Madrid and cosmopolitan Barcelona to historic virtually untouched cities from the Moors and Celts etc. of Toledo and Cordoba. Along the way beautiful Seville and Valencia the Med coast and views of the snowy Sierra Nevada mountains You'll see cave dwellings (still lived in) and visit an olive farm as well for dinner Highly recommend p.s.
