This was a step down from our other Luxury Gold experience. On the positive side: great overview of the places, culture, people that make NZ amazing. Comfortable coach. Great driver, good pacing of sights. Most of the accommodations and food were good. Small group size was great. On the negative: The guide Marty was horrible. This was his first time leading a luxury tour so ran it like the budget and sports tours he had experience with. Little attention to detail. More concerned with taking care of himself before his tour guests. Out of tune with the needs of tour guests and had to be prodded to address issues. Because of him we will strongly consider other companies besides Luxury Gold for our next trip.

Luxury Bronze This was our third Luxury Gold the first two really were golden - this one wasn't. A hiccup or a trend? The experiences were good as was the coach driver. New Zealand doesn't have many top end hotels but at least two of the hotels picked by the product managers were poor quality. In other cases what was offered by the hotel in terms of food was not adequate The concierge, whilst a pleasant individual, simply did not understand or deliver on the expectations of luxury travelers who have paid a premium for the experience

I wrote a thoughtful review & took time doing it. When I finished, I filled in the boxes with my name & location. Then clicked to submit. Then got a message that my session had timed out. That is completely frustrating & unacceptable. I was not able to copy it on my phone to submit. ?? I still do want to provide my review.
