Itinerary
Welcome to New York! What better way of starting this amazing trip than visiting the Statue of Liberty? We've got a full day of sheer NYC exploration ahead of us. We're talking Hudson Yards, the Highline, Grand Central Station, and even a visit to the World Trade Centre.
It's time to head across the bridge and get exploring Brooklyn. Made famous by Girls, Gossip Girl and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, this borough is the real deal.
We have a free day to explore and there's still one bit of the city we haven't seen - Central Park. And what better way than with a bike tour? Or maybe you'd like to take a tour of the LGBTQ+ historical hotspots in the city! In the evening, you'll have the chance to catch a breathtaking Manhattan sunset (from a yacht!) and cheers to what's been an incredible start, but there's still plenty more to come!
Well NYC, we came, we saw, we conquered. Next stop Philly! But not before a true American style diner breakfast - we're talking unlimited coffee and pancakes the size of your head. Taking the Amtrak (train) down to Philadelphia will have us arriving early afternoon. That's plenty of time to walk through historic Philly and admire all the landmarks that make this city famous, including the LOVE Monument and the Liberty Bell. For dinner it's best to indulge in what this city is known for: Philly cheese steaks and whoopie pies!
Today we head to the political capital of the USA, DC! Jumping back on the Amtrak will have us arriving in no time at all. Head out for a city tour of Washington DC, pointing out the White House, Capitol Building, the Washington Monument and National Mall. After checking in to tonight's accommodation, the night is yours - dinner, drinks, whatever you please!
A full free day in DC to do it your way is upon you. Whether that means strolling the National Mall, exploring the Smithsonian, kayaking on the Potomac or checking out Union St Market.
All good things come to an end (sadly). It's time to say goodbye to this epic American adventure. Who knows, maybe a trip to the West coast is on the cards next?

Its tours historically had a reputation for partying;[2][3] however, it also operates wellness trips culturally immersive experiences that focus less on alcohol, which are more popular with Generation Z.[4] The company owns lodging facilities in Europe, including the Chateau De Cruix, a 16th century castle in the Beaujolais wine region, and the Gasthof Schoneck in the Austrian Tyrol. The name "Contiki" comes from the portmanteau 'Con' from the word 'Continent' and 'Tiki'; from the Māori referring to the first man, often symbolised as a pendant known as hei-tiki. It can also be attributed to the New Zealand slang 'Tiki-tour' describing taking a longer route to a destination in order to explore.[5]
