Iconic Experience

  • Canyonlands National Park: There’s no better spot to witness the power of the Colorado River carving through rocky red landscapes than at Canyonlands National Park. Take in the views from the Green River Overlook, and be inspired by the vast expanse of high desert canyons at Grand Viewpoint.
  • Dead Horse Point State Park: Utah’s Canyon Country is an endless playground. Travel to Dead Horse Point State Park in San Juan County for a dramatic overlook of the Colorado River and Canyonlands National Park. Opened to the public in 1959, the Park covers 5,362 acres of high desert at an altitude of 5,900 feet. You’ll love getting back to nature making stops at the Colorado River Overlook and the famed Dead Horse Point for sweeping views of the high desert.
  • Arches National Park: Nature's creations spring to life at Arches National Park, home to the greatest concentration of natural arches in the world. Some 2,000 natural sandstone arches can be found within the boundaries of the national park. On your visit, unlock all the science and history of how these 6,000 natural sandstone arches were formed by rain and wind. Take in the sights of Delicate Arch and Balanced Rock while admiring the ever-changing landscapes as you traverse the park.
  • Goblin Valley State Park: The park's most distinctive feature is its thousands of mushroom-shaped hoodoos, which stand anywhere from a few feet to several meters tall. These rock formations were shaped by erosion over millions of years and resemble a gathering of otherworldly figures, hence the park's nickname, "Goblin Valley." Get an up-close look at these hoodoo formations paving your own trail throughout the park.
  • Capitol Reef National Park: Magnificent scenery awaits at Capitol Reef National Park, best known for its Waterpocket Fold, a 100-mile-long (160 km) warp in the earth's crust. Established in 1971 as a National Park the park today is popular due to it's landscape of colorful canyons, ridges, buttes, and monoliths. Learn about the park at the Visitor Center before taking a stroll along one of the various trails around the park.
  • Kodachrome Basin State Park, with it's red tinged rock formations and incredible blue skies, just begs to be photographed.
  • Bryce Canyon National Park: Hello, hoodoos. As you arrive at Bryce Canyon National Park, enjoy seeing the pink, orange and rusty-red limestone spires, known as hoodoos, rise up from the valley floor. Explore the visitor center to learn more about the history and geology of the park before a scenic drive along Bryce Canyon Road with possible stops at Sunrise Point, Sunset Point and Inspiration Point. You’ll love seeing how Bryce Canyon, home to the largest collection of these spires in the world, is in a league of its own.
  • Kanab: Time to climb in the Coral Pink sand dunes, and to be a kid again. This is the place to take your boots off and just scramble around on the curiously colored sand.
  • Glen Canyon Dam: Enjoy a walk to the rim of Glen Canyon where you will get the chance to visit Horseshoe Bend.
  • Zion National Park: Unlock geological history as you walk the paths and trails of Zion National Park, following in the footsteps of Native Americans and the earliest pioneers. The lush vegetation, wild rivers, roaring waterfalls and towering cliffs of this park will have you reaching for your camera over and over again. You’ll even drive through the amazing 1.1-mile, sandstone Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel built from the late 1920s through 1930, when it was the longest tunnel of its type at the time.

Utah Mighty 5 + 4! Knowledgeable tour director who always made himself available and bus driver that was always open to a changing plan. Where else can you see and take a hike in 5 national parks, 4 state parks, and visit Antelope Canyon? There is something to see and do at every stop! Be ready for a hike at each stop, but even if you decide not to hike there is still plenty to see. I don’t like flying or bus tours, but this was an amazing exception! If you like amazing views and a chance to explore during a hike you will not be disappointed!

Travel director was excellent. Couldn't ask for more. Overall, I would give it a "B". Biggest drawback is traveling with a group of 32. I probably wouldn't do another Trafalgar trip just based on the size of the group.

Amazing Utah/ Arizona Parks Tour! Our tour guide, *Personal information removed by Feefo*, was amazing ( knowledgeable, friendly, organized & helpful)! We felt prepared for each Park experience because of the information *Personal information removed by Feefo* shared on the bus & through a daily email. Our bus driver, *Personal information removed by Feefo*, proved to be very good at his job, navigating steep elevation changes & some hairpin turns along the way. The National & State Parks included on this trip were fantastic! Arches, Dead Horse Point, Bryce, Goblins, Antelope Canyon & Zion were our favorites. We thought the stop at Glen Canyon Dam should be dropped from the tour & the Antelope Canyon tour should be scheduled to take place earlier in that day to take advantage of the available light. We toured lower Antelope at 3:30 pm. It was not as beautiful since it was darker later in the day. The meals were delicious & accomodations were very good! We took advantage of the Colorado River Float excursion & found it relaxing, unique & informative. We also went to Ebeneezers Country Dinner & Show. It was entertaining & the dinner was tasty.

We had a fantastic trip and we were grateful to get to see as many parks as we did in the time we had. All of them were unique and beautiful! Our TD *Personal information removed by Feefo*, was always preparing us with key information and taking care of everyone. He’s a pleasure to be around. Our bus driver *Personal information removed by Feefo* was a great driver and took pride in his bus.

Our tour director, *Personal information removed by Feefo*, was terrific. All of our destinations were amazing and the balance of planned activities and time on our own was just right. The time on the coach was wonderful too- lots of information about where we were going and a great music play list when we were just traveling! All of our accommodations and meals were great- from the welcome dinner to out final evening happy hour. Our dinner on the reservation was so interesting and such a unique experience. Highly recommend this trip to anyone!

Greatest photo opportunities of all time. Trafalgar shoulfd provide all tour guides with complimentary tours so they are able to review each optional tour without having to but it themselves. Thes tour guides are working very hard and deserve some comps for their dedication. It was busy dasily time but more time was needed at Zion. It was too short a time to see very much. The coach driver and *Personal information removed by Feefo* were excellent and provided great entertainmant. I would not recommend the canyonland river light show. It was not what was advertised. The audio equipemnt was poor and two guys driving a pickup truck down the road with high intensity lights was not what anyone was expecting. This one option tour seemed like a tourist trap for the cost. All the lodging was very nice and the daily bag pick ups were very helpful. Overall we would recommend it to anyone for the convenience of covering a lot of parks in a timely manner.
