The on-tour service was excellent. We could not have asked for a better guide than *Personal information removed by Feefo*! I feel like Trafalgar needs to provide better service before the tour starts, because I called in with questions before we left, and were told very vague answers or that they didn't know. If they had better communication with Somak Safaris (their operator on the ground in Kenya), then a lot of misinformation could have been avoided. This is an excellent itinerary, and our guide, *Personal information removed by Feefo*, was fantastic! He was a great driver, answered all our questions and even stopped at a grocery store upon request so we could buy snacks and see what a local store is like. I have nothing but excellent things to say about *Personal information removed by Feefo*. A few things to note, this is a very busy, and "on the go" tour. We did not get to do many of the Optional Experiences" because there was no time in the itinerary to do so. We had a free afternoon in Saburu as well as an offer of a morning hot air balloon ride in the Maasai Mara (which was not mentioned in the original itinerary). I think Trafalgar could have done better at managing expectations of the timeline. We are not unhappy with how the tour turned out, but this was definitely misinformation. We did enjoy our stay at The Ark, but it seemed like a long drive to get there and we spent very little time enjoying it. We arrived at the Aberdare Country Club to check in, and then had to wait there almost 2 hours before we were taken to the Ark. This got us there by 6pm, which was enough time to check in, have dinner, chill for an hour or so, and then to bed as we left early the next morning. I would almost rather cut The Ark out entirely and have an extra day at Sweetwaters Serena or Lake Nukuru! The vehicles were comfortable and well maintained and everyone in the group loved the coffee plantation stop. All round wonderful experience, but better information on the timeline would be helpful.

Service was great. Our tour director *Personal information removed by Feefo* and *Personal information removed by Feefo* were amazing. They are very knowledgeable and were great at anticipating where animals would walk to after they were spotted. Lots of sights to see; unfortunately quite a bit of driving between parks which can't be avoided. This was a bucket list vacation; would go on it again!

The trip was outstanding from start to finish. Our tour director was very knowledgeable and helpful. My husband and I felt that we learned an enormous amount about Kenya, its people, and its animals. We were a small group of six which felt like a very private tour. The food was excellent and so were the employees of each reserve we stayed at.

This was my 5th trip out of the country with Trafalgar and I can't say enough about the excellent service they provide on the tours. They take care of EVERYTHING which makes the trip worry free and enjoyable. I saw LOTS of animals - lion, zebra, giraffe, cheetah, elephant gazelle, hippo, crocodile, leopard, buffalo, wildebeest, Impala, rhino, eland, baboon, hyena, waterbuck, monkey, hartbeest, jackal and many different species of birds. I was able to experience different parts of Kenya from the city of Nairobi to the mountains of Aberdare, the desert like Samburu, the wetlands of Lake Nakuru and the savanna of Maasai Mara. It was the trip of a lifetime to see wild animals in their natural environment.

The only thing I would change is to skip the Ark stay and spend a second day at one of the other lodges.

The airport meets and airport deliveries are great. I had a problem with my flight leaving South Africa to travel to Kenya. Trafalgar staff stayed with me and assisted to sort things out. All staff very helpful. Love the service. The safari was sensational and i would recommend. However, more advice should be provided about the type of terrain ie bouncing around in a jeep on gravel tracks can assist some people to make the decision not to undertake a safari, but on the other hand it is part of the adventure of searching for wildlife in their habitats. There was some information lacking in my itinerary that others seemed to have ie pack an overnight bag for the ARK. Some additional excursions listed on my itinerary didn't seem to be included on the itineraries of other members of the group. I wasn't too interested in the additional excursions anyway. I was very happy with the way the daily excursions occurred including an extra trip to a Samburi village. Our leader Johnna was better than sensational. He went out of his way to accommodate the group. He has a great sense of humour and fit with the group very well. He answered all our questions with respect. He has a great knowledge of the wildlife and their habits. Johnna accommodated additional needs such as ATMs when he could. He gave us enough time to take pictures and observe the animals at our pace. I hope Trafalgar continues the contract with Somack Safaris. The final hotel Keekorok Lodge was the worst hotel of both my tours. My room was so small I couldn't open my suit case fully. There was no hot water the first day. The condition overall of the room was something out of a budget hotel on the wharf. The veranda furniture was rejects from the lounge with holes and ripped fabric. I noticed other parts of the hotel had very modern veranda furniture and apparently better rooms. Front of office staff were rude and gave the impression that any request was too much to ask. The food was obviously catering to the Indian and Japanese clients and same menu lunch and dinner. Staff in the dining room lacked polish. They sort of knew what to do but had to be directed by the manager. Music was catering for the Indian clientele and very loud. As a woman in a group I was often ignored by wait staff when taking orders. I had to get up from the group and place my own order. The pre and post service from Trafalgar was excellent. as a group tour company I would use them again depending on the size of the group is no more then 20

Their service was amazing both on the trip and in the office with our Travel, Agent *Personal information removed by Feefo* It was a wonderful trip. I would not change a thing *Personal information removed by Feefo* our travel agent was awesome and our group leaders on the Africa Safari were great. I love everything about it. We stayed where we went. Everything was awesome.

A pity the Trafalgar man never got back to us when we missed our flight home. It was suggested that seeing Trafalgar booked the airfares, they could rebook another flight, but we never heard from him. Fortunately the Trolley manager at the airport took us to a Booking office where a darling lady worked with us and got us home. But this does not reflect on the actual trip. Wonderful! a fun filled, educational trip. Much better than I anticipated. The guides (drivers) were exceptional. How they cope on those roads, I don't know! The knowledge they imparted was excellent, and their ability to spot animals in tall grass was amazing. I would thoroughly recommend this trip.
